Before the conception of 3SNY, 3SNY was previously known as 3SI-LINYC (3000GT STEALTH International - Long Island / New York City Chapter). After receiving several inquiries from 3000GT & Stealth owners that lived outside of the Long Island and New York City area, 3SI - LINYC agreed to take on the role of being New York State's representative in the 3000GT / Stealth enthusiast community. In July of 2003, 3SI-LINYC was no more and 3SNY took its first steps in accommodating the entire state.
3SNY stands for 3000GT & Stealth Club of New York State, but to keep things simple we refer to our club as 3SNY. 3SNY is car club that focuses more on the members as opposed to the members' car. 3SNY is a non-profit organization that exists to help members have more fun with their 3000GT/STEALTH vehicles. To encourage and promote the admiration for the ownership, care, and maintenance of the 3000GT/Stealth with safe and courteous operation. To represent a unified voice for 3000GT/STEALTH owners of New York State. To serve as a medium of exchange in the sharing of ideas, information, and parts for owners of the 3000GT/Stealth. Provide an organization for club members to meet, socialize, and maintain the spirit of good fellowship and to participate in activities including the use of their 3000GT/Stealth. To actively pursue ways to participate in charitable events such as car shows and other events. To further the interest of owners and drivers of the 3000GT/Stealth and to promote the safety and enjoyment of motoring in all phases. All while operating within the scope of the law.
3SNY is made up of 5 regions with each region having its own Regional Representative. Each Regional Representative reports to the Regional Coordinator. The Regional Coordinator who is part of the Board of Officers reports to the rest of the Board of Officers, which consists of the President, Vice President, Administrator, and Regional Coordinator.

Please note that you must read and agree to the conditions of the 3SNY bylaws, and you must own a 3000GT or Stealth. You will be asked to supply your VIN, so please have that ready. You will not be able to complete registration without it.
3SNY does not have its own forum because of several reasons:
3SNY members used to use 3SNY's forum as well as utilize 3si.org's forum, so instead of having to post in 2 separate forums, we just utilize one. It also provides us a means to show support to 3SI.org, which is one of the main reasons on how 3SNY came to be.
When New Yorkers search for a 3000GT or Stealth forum, 3si.org usually comes up first. So since it receives the most traffic there is no need to have a new 3/S enthusiast search 2 forums for the same information.
Instead of having to maintain a forum, the members and officers can spend their time working on other projects.
It provides a means of non-3sny members to witness first hand how we operate.
