Event Date:  Thursday June 21st thru Sunday June 24th 2018

The North East Gathering was created to provide an opportunity for all 3000GT & Stealth enthusiasts to get together in the north eastern region. This event is focused on providing the 3S enthusiast, their friends, and family a fun filled weekend for all to enjoy. This event is unique compared to other 3S gatherings in that for the most part; it has very little to do with our cars. While there is a car show it is but a very small part of the gathering. The car show is held so participants are given the opportunity to showcase their cars and hard work in a collective manner. Not to show off; but rather to educate one another. Votes from participants are tallied in a manner that is truly unique to the NEG. This meet is truly a vacation for 3S owners; No drag racing, no autocross, no long drawn out cruises, and no activities that your family and friends of any age cannot partake. The planners of this event make it a point to keep things fresh and to try out new things. Meets tend to be predictable and boring if you don’t change it up every once in a while. After hosting this event for a few years, we are confident we have almost every base covered. None of your fees are for profit and an itemized list of expenditures are available to anyone who wants to see them. We take pride in efficiently managing our budget.

This year's NEG will be in New York!  

Starting Thursday night we will be going out to dinner at the Blue Stone Tavern.  The Bluestone Tavern provides a place for people to gather over shared plates and casual drinks—to create a more relaxed atmosphere while maintaining quality, affordable food and drink. The new bluestone countertops, for which we are named, are joined by several new updates that have transformed the space from upscale dining room to a more casual pub dining experience.

After dinner we will be making an Ice Cream at Freezology.  Freezology is a truly unique expereince  utilizing liquid nitrogen flash frozen ice cream and treats made to order.  They make regualr ice cream and ice cream that is gluten free, lactose free, sugar free or vegan.

Friday afternoon we will be going to, KART Indoor Raceway for a few rounds of racing.  Kart features a climate controlled indoor go-kart track and features Long Island's only slick track racing.  With electric go-karts reaching speeds of 32 mph. 

After the go-kart event we will be attending a great local car show held at the Bellmore Train Station.  This car show is a great Long Island tradition and plays host to some of the finest street cars Long Island has to offer.  We'll also  be going to dinner at some point in the evening.

Saturday will begin from 3SNY's clubhouse. 3SNY will be providing coffee & bagels and allow everyone an opportunity to wash their cars before we caravan to Smith Point Beach.  Smith Point Beach is where we will be having the car show.  Please be advised that there will be a park admission fee which is not included in your registration fees.  Sandwiches, snacks, and beverages will be brought to the event and is included in your registration fees.  After a day at the beach....

everyone will return to the hotel to rest up and refresh themselves.  Saturday evening we will be having an Awards BBQ at 3SNY's Clubhouse.  Diner, appetizers, beverages, and desert are included as part of your registration fees.  There will be a brief awards presentation and raffle prize drawing.

 

Registration fees are $30.00 per person.  Kids 14 and under are free.

Your fees pay for:  lunch and refreshments at the car show, your meal at the awards banquet, and other costs that make this event possible.
